January Updates for Rick Alonzo Ministries

Update for January 2024:
Dad and I had 4 school assemblies last month and we're getting into even more schools for this spring semester.
First school was at Jackson Elementary in Selma. Our message was centered on personal responsibility and taking ownership of our actions. I loved working with these kids. They had so much fun getting to see their favorite superheroes come to life.
We had a group painting class and performance at an elementary school in Brentwood (NorCal area). Thank you to Village Community Resource Center for having us! Many of these students came from low income homes. Being able to hang out with them was a highlight of the month.
We also had a school assembly at Roosevelt Elementary School in Kingsburg. Our message focused on their acronym, S.T.A.R. (STAR Character): Stay safe, Take responsibility, Act respectfully, & Ready to learn). My favorite thing is to hear their reaction whenever I paint Spiderman.
Our last event was at Kingsburg High School with Oasis. The message was about overcoming adversity and not allowing your past mistakes to determine your future. We painted some newer paintings for this assembly, such as Bruce Lee, Rocky Balboa, and Kobe Bryant. This was a great time with high school students and we're grateful to the staff at Oasis Continuation School for having dad and me.
I wasn't able to get too many pictures for this last month since performing, speaking, and taking pictures is a little difficult to do at the same time. But it's been great to have dad back and performing again.
Please continue to pray for both of my parents and their health. It's been one thing after the other with our family. We could use all the prayers we can get. Thank you all for your love, support, and encouragement. Continue to pray for me as well as there are many ministry opportunities (international and national) that God is opening for RAM. I am trying to be faithful with what He has given me and discerning with which doors to step through.
Thank you. We love you all.
In Him,
The Alonzo Family
